Hey there, dA viewers. Sorry if I didn't update my dA Journal for a very long time, but this has going through my head for a long time, so I'm going to say it in list form or whatever.

Convention Visits

Bad News: Unfortunately, I'm on the Reserved List for this year's Thought Bubble Festival and that means, you're not going to see sell some stuff and tat any time soon. So much for visiting Leeds. However...yeaef="mancstercon.wordpress.com/">Mancstercon at MediaCity UK in Salford. Well, more like the MediaCity UK University of Salford's campus, but whatever. And yes, I'll be selling the RSBD comics, tat and some lovely prints, mostly beautfiul inked Greyscale illustrations of Xillia 2. And I'm also going to accept commissions and you can also collect your own personalised print in Mancstercon as well. I'll be putting some more info soon.

Leaving deviantART

This has been a very difficult time for me since I first started my dA account back in 2005, but after 10 years of being active and non-active (thanks Tumblr and Pixiv) on this site, I feel like I should close down my dA account. I know this will mean that a whole collection of my stuff since 2005 will be lost forever, but it seems that whenever I look at my pre-2010 stuff, I felt strange to see how my art style had evolved from copy-cat my favourite artists to making a mark on my own, i.e. my own art style. And a bit uncomfortable on how I went from manga/anime-obsessed to something a bit more obscure. If you want to have a look at my own artwork, now is the best time to take a closer look before I delete everything but the cosplay photos and such. Those will stay.

And on the bittersweeter side, I'm going to publish my last poll as I felt that it just wasn't worth my subscription fee again since only one member was willing to pay for it (and that I'm just about to start my freelance business that would rely on donation just to keep continuing on what I love). This time, it's based on the doodles from Tales of Xillia 2, which is probably the only Tales game that I actually enjoyed and like so far (Xillia 1, not so much but I still like it); whereas Symphonia kinda stained my view on the entire Tales series in general.

Chibi Commissions OPEN

Yep, the Watercolour/Inked Chibi Commissions are now open for business. The Black and White or Greyscale costs £15 and the Watercolour ones cost £30 (hey, those water-soluble inked pencils aren't that cheap to replace once supplies run dry) and both of them can take either only two hours or half-day depending on the details and a number of rough sketches before the final design can take place and it has the commissioners' approval. And the best part? You can either have your commission delivered by post (Postage and Packaging is inclusive so no need to buy an extra amount) or you can have them digitally and print your own in high quality CYMK 300dpi (colour) 600dpi (greyscale) resolution on PDF format. Both of them will be in A5 sized, portrait or landscape. I'll post more information and terms and conditions later, but for now if you have any queries please don't hesitate and ask me straight away.

That's all for now. I'll probably put a Patreon page in the future.

It's a shame to see you leave dA but I understand your reasonings. I hardly ever use dA anymore other than just checking in every now and then.
I'll just have to carry on stalking you on Twitter etc instead :XD:
